Vector artwork is the format in which we prepare / create our artwork for screen print production. Because the image size we use for screen printing t-shirts and other items is much larger than most size documents, the quality of an image at any size is important. Unlike bitmapped / rasterized artwork (.jog, .gif, .tif, .pict, .bmt) vector artwork is created in an outline format which makes it scalable at any size.
Often, we are able to convert bitmapped artwork into vector format with good results. It is important if you are turning in a design that is NOT vector, that it be in resolution. To know for sure how well your specific design will convert to vector, please consult our art department.
