In-House Screen Printed Towels
Kustom Imprints utlilizes plastisol screen print ink in our own print shop. This ink is a superior ink for most apparel including t-shirts and sweatshirts. For towels, though the feel can often be rough when screen printing directly to the velour. If too much plastisol ink builds up (which is what can happen on towels) that texture may be not acceptable for a towel that will be used to actually dry off the body. In addition our screen printing equipment only allows us to print a size up to 15" by 15". Often customers with towel orders require a image to be larger than a 15" wide or tall.
If you require soft-to-the-touch ink or a larger imptin size for a beach towl or bath towel, that is no problem. We would have the manufacturer of the towel do the screen printing becasue they have a much better expertise in water based screen print inks. Spirit Towels
Usually a spirit towel is not a problem for us to screen print in-house. These towels are small, so our size limitation is not a problem. Additionally the rougher plastisol ink is usually not a problem with our customers because it true purpose is to waive around and not necessarily to be used on your own person.
